congrats , I do have a question. are you been able to track your application before it started to be processing?

No, I gave it some times and because I didn't receive any AOR.
I asked questions on this portal and I was advised to check on ECAS with my UCI.

because it says Firstname/Surname that confuses me to be fair, do they need my first name only or my last name or just both!
my name is a bit complicated and someone told me that their system is very sensitive to names, so if you write your name let's say not all in caps it doesn't work or with no caps!
is that right?

If you are checking on ECAS your UCI number, last name alone ,then your date of birth and country if birth. It is advised that you write it the way it is on your decision letter.
If it is written in all caps, just write it in caps for them.

thank you for the replay, but let me just make sure of some information here, so when you checked the status for the first time, was the application in processing?
Or just received but no processing?
another question is let's say your name is John ST Rodriguez, note that John is your first name and Rodriguez is your last name (ST) is your middle name.
Do I write the whole name with spaces in between or only John Rodriguez to search for my file?

Once it has started processing you will be able to see on ECAS, then you can link to your gckey but if you cannot then the processing has not started.
Also for the name ,if they ask for last name. Just put only Rodriguez, if it is first name, put only John

Firstname or Surname. I will advise you put your Surname instead of first name

I keep seing this in my portal...HOME.STEPS.DOCUMENT_STATUSES. in my address part..It was initially approved but changed to that

Resolved after one day from I sent an email to :
IRCC.ClientPortalOntario-OntarioClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

Subject : Technical
I mentioned my application # along with print screen of the error.

I got reply :
Technical issues with the portal.
I sent an e-mail and they reply with:

Thank you for your inquiry. It seems that there was a glitch with the portal. This email is to confirm that we have received your mailing address in the portal.

Now everything is ok, address is showing correctly but still under review, have you received the confirmation?

I received AOD letter which means they have received my application.
It’s a temporary number btw

No 7. Is not IRCC update. It was the day we completed the medical that IRCC asked for in No. 6. Update no. 8 is my record of the email sent to me by IRCC. It didn’t appear in my eCAS. The only updates on my eCAS are 1, 2, 3, 6 and

That is what happened to me. Never received G application number, just removed X and moved on with linking.

I did my medical exam on May 8th, the clinic sent the results on May 14. IRCC portal shows they have not received our medical results and sent another medical exam letter on Jun 11, I called IRCC, they told me they have received my medical results in their main system on May 17, and my portal is not updated.
I am May 2021 application. Don't worry, you can see a lot of weird thingsfrom IRCC these days.
