Hey everyone!
Nov 2017 applicant here - LVO.

My background check was started (according to GCKey) in late April, no updates in ECAS or MyCIC since then.

Did ECAS change for anyone when BGC started? ECAS still shows "Application Received". I also haven't received anything about transferring my app to the LVO yet.

I'm actually a dependent child! They can only be processed outland and I'm a British Citizen, so it will be LVO. The timeline and process is virtually the same but there aren't any threads for dependent children so I'm doing my best to gauge some (even little) information!

From what I've seen ecas doesn't change to reflect a BGC.

Thanks! In your timeline, was it just the Sponsor side that showed "we started processing your application on xx/xx/xxxx...." or did both sides show this message? We have DM on my mum's (sponsor) ECAS but nothing on the PA side after medical results.

We've never logged into anything as the sponsor. Always under me (the PA).

Similar timeline to you but I'm British living in Canada. But who in the heck knows how they do things over at LVO.

Question .. on the most recent notes, i notice that the due date for medical says June 28 2018, while the medical is valid till July 19 2018. What does this mean? My hubby is currently in queue for an interview .. may 30th applicant .. thank you ..

Hey landed! April 17th

And getting used to the area. Parents are giving "advice" quite funny.

Now the next hurdle. Had to return to the UK and while here the PR card photos got rejected!

I hear this happens a lot. I don't know if it was the photo taken here - the one stuck on the CoPR - or the one taken at the airport when landed.

Anyway, another set of photos to be taken and couriered to Canada. Delaying the card even more.

This is the second time I hear about photos being required later in the process but I have never seen any official documentation about this. What are these photos? I submitted some photos with the application as outlined in the checklist. Does it have something to do with those?
