I think the timeline is generally done from the date of filing the application until the visa is issued, not the date of landing. Someone might choose not to land for 6 months, but that doesn't mean their application took 11 months, it only took 5.
I have a (very) stupid question that I'm asking just because I'm curious.
When they say that 30% of Buffalo applications are completed in 4 months or less - is this four months from when the file is transferred to Buffalo? Or four months from the time when Buffalo officially declares the file "in process". I assume it's the former..

CIC via phone told me it was from when Buffalo starts processing.
The website indicates "Processing Times at Individual Visa Offices in the Americas" which would make me think Buffalo takes x - x aomount of time. And doesn' include sponsorship portion.

You all seem like a nice buch. Thought I'd post my timeline and wait along with you all. I'm thinking of ordering my Foss Notes, maybe it might give it a little push Who knows right. What do you all think?
