I have a question... can I email Buffalo about my husband's medicals... will they answer me as long as I have his Buffalo Immigration number? Or will they only respond to him inquiring?

I've heard faxing regarding medicals is a reliable method, not sure about e-mails unfortunately.

Actually good news!! We finally got the medical issue resolved... they found them in Ottawa...after two weeks of waiting for an answer! I am relieved!

Congrats!!! That's great!! 2 weeks a long time to be stressed out over something you're afraid will delay things. Right now, my biggest fear is this passport request. I mailed it out, but I hope I didn't forget something, the deadline is only a week from today ???

I am sure you didn't forget anything!! When did you mail it in? Did you do a tracking number so you know it arrived? I bet that would be a little nerve racking until you get it back into your hands!!!

I mailed it in November 1, they gave me until November 10. I know it arrived already (I did "Express Mail" both ways - I have a return envelope!) You'd be surprised. I thought I was nervous about the application, but for whatever reason... this part's making me sweat more it would seem. Thanks StillSmilin

No word yet - no docs request, or even better a passport request... nothing!

Processing times were apparently doubled, which is rather disturbing. Buffalo went up to 11 months. I'm not at Buffalo anymore, thankfully. I just wish Detroit would truly expedite my application and grant us PPR next week.

Sigh. I've certainly had enough of waiting. I've been struggling with depression lately.

Sorry I haven't updated for a while. I recieved my CSQ from Quebec yesterday (11/4). Yet I still haven't recieved an AOR...however I heard from Detroit asking us to send the address that my wife would be living at and when she was returning to Canada. My wife is already in Canada and has returned back to her job. We had submitted an address change to Buffalo before they transferred our file to Detroit and we also submitted one to Detroit. Apparently it got lost in the shuffle but after an email this morning they got right back to us stating that our info was now updated. They also requested a copy of our CSQ. This has me hopeful! My CSQ was forwarded to Buffalo already...I don't know if they would forward it to Detroit or not...but I would think so. Well...if that's the case and if Detroit wants me to send them the CSQ NOW...then maybe they are about to process it! I certainly hope so! Anyway we asked if it was okay to fax it instead of mail it. They responded it would be ok...sooo...we are faxing the CSQ and hoping for the best

Passport request today!!!!

I was so happy I cried at work (how embarassing).

We already have plane tickets for the 9th of December (they're return tickets) but I guess we're going for good now!

It literally feels like a weight has been lifted. It's been incredibly stressful. When I read the e-mail, I just felt so overwhelmed, especially as we submitted a Common Law application. Fingers crossed for the rest of you - London's Processing time may have doubled "officially" but they are progressing quickly!

Congrats, that is the most amazing news.

I just came back from visiting my husband. Been crying all day. Very, very tired. I need that PPR soon. Haven't heard anything yet. :'(
