Hi all,

I have just checked e-cas and we have 'Decision made' and nothing else, as in, isit a yes or a no?, on 23rd Sept, I thought that they sent the decision in an e-mail for some reason, has anyone had this or did I dream it?

Do I have to wait for the letter to see what the decision is?

Decision made for sponsor... mostly it means it's approved... so far, haven't heard of sponsors being denied for approval unless they doesn't rely on social government's assistance in other case. Although, even a sponsor who is currently relying on social government's assistance can hire someone who is eligible enough to co-sign the sponsorship agreement.

Decision made has 2 facts... either it's decision made for approval or can be decision made for refusal/denied esp. to PR applicants.

I'm not much of a waiter, so I have just phoned Canada and we have been APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been reading the last few post...how can you check anything on eCAS? I thought that I understood what eCAS was...I thought it was the page that tells you the wait times and what date they are on. Is it the page that ask for a receipt number? And if so...what receipt?

After further searching...I found a receipt for the $550 that I paid. I tried using that receipt number with my own and my wifes information, but neither worked.

Just checked ecas and... our application is now "In Process"!!! So exciting!! Manila has started processing our application last Sept 22!

And you should enter the information of the sponsor, which I think is your wife right? If ecas says that the information you entered does show up on their system then that means your application is still waiting to be processed.

Me toooo ecas says in process since Sept 21. Hopefully im not goin to be stuck in this stage for a long time. ;D ;D

Okay, here we go!! ;D I just checked Ecas and it now shows In Process as of September 24th!!! I was putting in our Receipt No. under my name but nothing was coming up. I just checked under my husbands (sponsor) name and there is it!! Yeah!

Thanks for updating but you just robbed me 2 days, 48 hours makes a huge difference you know ;D ;D ;D, just playin, but mine started processing on the 21st and not the 23rd. Oh by the way the tracker looks so neat and tidy, good job. Hopefully its going to fill up pretty soon with all the good news from everybody. Hang in there angelb.... :-*

I took Nyssa's advice and called CIC. Our application was opened on the 21st, and there is no note about missing documentation. I faxed them my option c print out. So now.. I wait.

So relived to know it was opened, and not sent back.
