Ecas says mine is in process as of 6th August..yippeeeee. I emailed Sydney re the wrong spelling of my name & they got back to me the next day...pretty impressed!!
No AOR received yet but not too fussed as I know the application got their in one piece..phew! ;D

Thanks Lyn!! I'm thinking we may just get ours before that Christmas deadline..woo hoo! What sort of extra documents did they request if you don't mind me asking. I sent in two police checks & my medical stuff & I'm racking my brain to what else they may request??? Cheers.

They didn't ask for anything, but our app went in minus a couple of things that really should have been there. We gave alternative evidence which I believe would have been sufficient anyway, but when the "proper" stuff arrived (delayed option C and one other minor past-history thing) I sent it on. Hopefully there's nothing else they could want/need. I thought about sending em chocolate but it's too hot

Good news! So, last night, just before midnight, I was just saying "still no email from Sydney"..... then checked it.... email from Sydney. Hyperventilation time!
PDF letter with request for passport! Still in shock, will be sending it off today though I hate letting out of my hot sticky paws.

I'm 'in process' now. I like the sound of the Sydney office!! Things seem to be flying down there, which is really good news. Just fingers crossed that my application is on target!
I sent mine express post, and they sent it back normal registered airmail, only took a couple of days. However now it is stuck in customs which "can take 3-4 weeks". Hope yours is faster!
ha I'm jumping the gun actually, I have not received it yet! Just was wondering the best way to post it when it comes time!

I sent mine via Canada Post Priority Express. I paid $65 but it is one of my most valuable possesions so well worth the money. Plus, Sydney CIC gave me 30 days to send my passport in and 15 days have already past. Good luck, hoping you get good news this week.
Seems I jinxed myself. Sydney requested more documents. I was wondering if anyone knows the mailing address in Sydney? I am not sure where to send the docs. I might email them and ask also. Cheers guys.
