@ Nina Dennis, Congratulations to both of us and other applicants who's applications are progressing. We've paid DHL to pick it up but I'm not holding my breath until my wife tells me the visa is now in her possession at that time I will finally exhale. I wish other people good luck with their respective application.
@Obronibini. Nice name! We wanted to do the police check in advance but because we have to send a representative (it is allowed, you just have to give them a photocopy of your passport and some photos of you and then they can go on your behalf) and we figured it would be much less complicated once we have a letter requesting the police check from the Canadian embassy. My husband just had a comprehensive police check to obtain a student visa in the Uk, so I am hoping they take that into consideration and decided to waive it all together. We will see.
We have very similar timelines, it will be nice to see each others progress as we go. Hope to hear good news from you soon!

Obronibini my application took about 10 months to get to this level..But it would have been shorter, but my husband short paid the RPRF and that delayed the process for almost 3months

oh noo! Sorry abt that , things happen, am sure it will be over soon , 10 months is not that bad , we looking at 6 to 8 months or less. Counting on God, we sent and paid for everything upfront.
@ Obronibini.. Accra received mine in late July 2013 so yea it's 9 months but I've heard of some people getting their visa in less time than mine but in all I give thanks to God. The first time I tried to sponsor my wife back in 2012 it only took 3 and half months before they call her for interview in Ghana which she was refused and I reaplied again in last year. Keep your thoughts positive and hope for the best. You will surely smile and rejoice when its all said and done.
