Yes yours might take just under 12 months but you will probably not be processed before most of us are because we who applied before December 7th, 2016 we are still supposed to be processed by the end of December this year.

I don't even think AVO will follow the new law...

No one can really say, we only have assumptions and wishes.
From CIC Website, and using other VOs as case study, the two classes should be treated differently, however It is AVO, the decision lies with them.
However, you getting a reply from them to do medical looks like a good sign on your application, let's keep fingers crossed, as events unfold, we would understand better.

Sorry everyone I haven't been around. Work is very stressful and no time to do anything. For those who needed info on medicals. AVO sent a mail with a form attachment that shows your details. Upon arrival at the medical center I was asked for the form. That's what the doctor filled and submitted online. I hope I'm not too late with this information.

I can't believe you will be 12 month

I will be 11 month in a week and I can't believe I'm waiting this long it sad

we finally got an email from them today, they want us to go do another medicals because its pass 12 months. we will have to spend another 350 dollars on medicals. this is just annoying, but we have no choice.
