Accra-Ghana has increased processing months from 14 to 16 months...God have mercy for them to speed up the whole processing thing...

I thank everyone that contributes regularly in this forum. I've been following this forum closely since I applied to sponsor my wife to join me. Our application was received Dec 2/2014 and Sponsor's approval Feb 23/2015. I've been trying to check if our profile has changed to "Application in Process" from "Application Received". Are we going to see the change in the Sponsor's profile (mine) or the principal applicant's profile (my wife)? Thanks.

Both profile will change to in process. But according to older members, this happens just before PPR.

Expect changes Under your wife's profile. Decision was made on yours when u got the sponsor's approval. Currently ur wife's profile may be showing "application received". That is what will be changing henceforth.

Hi seniors on this forum, I filed my case on the 10th of December 2014 and got sponsored on the 3rd of march 2015, since then ive never heard anything from cic please can someone tell me when im gonna hear from them ? The waiting is though any suggestions please experience members

The processing time is approximately 8 to 9 months but I hope u did ur medical upfront becos it's one thing that gets to delay the processing sometimes......and if u did everything then keep fingers crossed becos the next thing u hear from them might be passport request....

Welcome all new members. Please don't forget to update your timelines in your profile for future members. Read back from page 100 until now for a lot of great encouragement and information.

For family class, do everything upfront and pay your fees and it should be Ok. 6-8 months from start to finish at the moment.

2 months for sponsorship approval and 4-6 months in Accra.

Not hearing is good. I heard nothing at all. It will end good. All the best. They didn't even tell me to pick up the visa haha

I heard nothing until PPR. You should hear something in July or August max.

We did everything upfront medicals,police certificate, fees so 3 - 4 months more now sucks...

Both profile will change to in process. But according to older members, this happens just before PPR.

It should show Decision Made for Sponsor and In Process for Applicant after 4 months (maybe) of Application Received. Once you're in Process then you'll get the PPR in a few days or hours (in my case)
