Wow... I understand but you did your medicals on Jan 20th. Hmmm.... Our medicals is expiring by April 15 of this year. That's why I'm a little bit tensed about this visa issuance date. I mean, I'm ready to buy her ticket for tomorrow if the passport lands today. Nice timeline though.

Don't worry about medicals, they can be extended by the visa office. You'll have your visa way before that I promise you..next week for sure

So everyone, this is the end of this canadian visa journey for me and my hubby.

He got an email today from Accra to organize pick-up of his passport, which he did promptly with DHL.

I am so grateful this ordeal is over. I just can't stop thanking God.

Don't worry about it o pester, I noticed they only notify applicants on Monday's. I got my passport request on d 2nd of Mar, accra received it on the 5th and on the 16th, I got an email that my document was ready for pickup. I'm almost sure u will get hear from them soon.

It seems that they respond whatever is they choose because my hubby got an email today. Thanks though.

I believe using DHL is much better. That's what I used when I processed my PNP. And that's what we are using now for my wife's passport. With DHL, my mind is at peace.

Oh Okay! Thanks Gamerwalt! Roger that! honestly, was actually tring to be cheap though..heard DHL to and fro could be up to 35,000 while vfs about 8,500max from Nigeria. and DHL a bit complicated.

DHL is better as you can actually track your package as it goes and returns. Yes it is expensive but to me it was the better option.

congratulation.... did u get ur tracking number from DHL? my husband was told that they don't provide tracking until DHL picks up his package from Accra. the lady that attended to him at the office said she would send him a text message with the tracking number. i just want to be sure he was mot misinformed.
