Your consultant might not have any answer more than what you noticed, even with access to your MyCIC.
Many users in your case had to call CIC to get the "decision made" answer directly from the agent because their status had been stuck on "decision made" for a month without news or notification letter from CIC. You should directly the CIC call centre, they will let you know the decision.

His consultant might have an answer if a notification email was sent but they are yet to see it. He should contact his consultant to confirm if a message was sent to his mycic account since the OP won't have access to mycic.

Never advised not to call his consultant (your interpretation)
Only advised to directly call CIC centre (obviously after checking with his consultant), if his paralegal couldn't find any answers on his MyCIC (many couldn't find any message on their MyCIC following a "decision made" update).
The CIC call centre does have access to all case notes made by the officer who made the decision (I did call CIC several times to have them check on some case notes for info confirmation). If he wants to, they will let him know since a decision has been made. Up to him
So sorry to hear that :-[
Anyway you can have an updated "offer letter" indicating "non-seasonal and permanent" ? :-\
If so, you might have your case re-opened submitting your updated document + an apology in a Case Specific Enquiry via CIC's website.
Mycic finally changed today to 'this application has been approved'. Super excited! I sent my passport on July 14, and they received it on July 16th. I am hoping i get it back by this Friday and i can do the flagpole this weekend.
Please, can anyone advise me on how to cancel BOWP application? I know someone shared the link recently, but i cant seem to find it. I applied on June 1st and they clearly haven't gotten to my application yet, since they are still working on applications from March/April
