Check my ECAS again 4 times today, nothing, still only two lines. I would love to know why there is no standard procedure for such an important issue or process, apart from suit yourself in how you deal and log the PR applications!!

I totally agree with you Popey! Apparently applications from outside Canada have a much more structured procedure than in land applications. EE has been in place for 6 months now and for what it looks like, they are still figuring out how to update application statuses and notify applicants of decisions made on their applications.

I've got the confirmation from the CIC Agent that my PR was approved, but according to MyCIC, Eligibility Review is still In Progress and Final Decision Not Started.
IF express entry was more "open book" when it comes to status and what is really going on with applications, I bet there would be less calls from us to CIC, trying to figure out what is happening, or maybe not who knows...

But I seriously wish they would follow a specific pattern..

I will call CIC in a few. Already know that they will say "Sir, you have to wait until your 6 months have passed, yada yada yada...", but it's worth the try ;D

I know the feeling. I got my medicals pass and bg check changed to in progress on May 28th. That's the last time I had any movement. I've got the 3 lines in the ECAS, but it's now been a month. I'm just worried I'll get rejected for some document or reason. Haven't been asked for any additional documents either.

Hello Guys , just want to share one thing ... I was so irritated by the fact that CIC asked me send marriage document to Ottawa, i forgot to check my ECAS...

I just check my ECAS right now, it is "in process"...I clearly remember it was application received last Thursday...

so here how it went ... In process >Application received >In process now..

I submitted my profile on 3rd April...

My ECAS is more than 2 lines for the first time ever this evening.

Right up until past the time I got PPR it was two lines, not even a medical received or passed.

I wouldn't sweat it.

The ECAS status is by far the best indication of all where your application is.


EDIT: just checked and my MyCIC is still awash with in progresses etc.

got ECAS updated! 3rd line added in ECAS and background check now is "In progress"! I'm very happy, first moves after 2 months!

Esantos, my MYCIC status also finally changed to Application Approved and File Closed after one week when i got my Decision Made in ECAS. So, i think they actually update the myCIC when somebody finally stamps your passport.

I had sent my Passport last monday 22nd June and i haven't got it back yet. I saw some people getting it back in literally same week. I used the ExpressPost.
