I am no expert so please don't go by my words alone. Are you leaving for India for good? If so, you should request PPR from the LVO. If yours is going to be a short stay, it should be possible for you to send your passport to Ottawa. I believe CIC gives 30 days for passport submission. Experienced forum members will hopefully correct me if I've misstated anything.

Thanks Deccan. I'm going to India for about a month. I believe they give anywhere from 30 -60 days to submit your passport but if anyone here could confirm that timeline it would be great ?

I noticed that the status in myCIC went from Submitted to Updated for a few seconds earlier today. It was a total coincidence that I saw it considering the number of times I check both myCIC and ECAS. This same thing happened a day or so before they asked me for FBO PCC and before I one of those system generated (ghost) emails. I'm hoping today's update means there might be some change tomorrow...

Did you notice any such thing in your portal today?

This happened to me today, so I believe a ghost email is on its way, and hopefully DM?

My today's update..

1. No change in ECAS
2. No Ghost or normal emails.
3. MyCIC Status changed from Submitted to Updated.
4. BG changed (again) from Not needed to "In Progress"

Is this heading in correct direction?? Let me know guys...Thx in advance....

Omg yes!

So far I know of 5 who got the "updated" status without any real update, one (deccan) has already received the ghost email, the rest are on the way,
I thing there will be a batch of DMs tomorrow Fingers crossed <3

already received GCMS notes and got approved
criminal check assed
eligibility : passed
medical : passed
final decision : approved
4 days to go and it will be a month long waiting for PPR

My Ecas shows below 4 lines and against my name on the main page it shows 'In Process'-

We received your application for permanent residence on August 21, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 21, 2015.
We started processing your application on August 25, 2015.
Medical results have been received

The 4th line was added on 14th Oct (mass update for everyone)

I don't remember seeing 'Application received' as a status on my page but I don't check my ecas daily. Is this the 2nd In process or the 1st one, based on your judgement?
And what are the realistic timelines I should expect for my DM? I have already paid the full fee(550 + 490) in one go for both me and my wife while submitting my application (FSW Outside).

It is likely that this is the second "in process" stage. Given the overall trends, especially for FSW outland, I'd say strap yourself in for around a 5-month wait from the time of AOR.

Hey Mate I had my DM on the 17th of OCT. No updates since then, if I don't receive anything in a weeks time I am going to apply for GCMS notes.
