Here I've seen people from UK, India, Belgium, etc.
My slightly educated guess is that now luck depends more on the medicals validity/expiry date. For example, mine were extended in Feb 2021 till Oct 28th. So I am in the "don't issue COPR" batch until they expire again and IRCC determines if I need another extension or re-medical. So if you have more than 6 months of medicals validity and "all stages passed", you might see your PPR email anytime.

But that's my goddamn optimism. My realistic brain tells me I won't be ever approved due to a combo of my country of citizenship, NOC, family composition, etc. Just not attractive to Canada.

To be honest IRCC's lack of communication has driven me so mad that at this point I would gladly take an email of rejection from them. At least it would be comforting to know they communicated with me at last.

That was what I thought too. Slowly I am facing with the reality that there might not.
I am fsw aor jan 2020. My medicals got extended for the first time on september 3rd, 2021.
still nothing.
