Hi all, good news from Hong Kong VO! After the seemingly endless wait, I finally received the PPR email!

AOR: 8 Oct 2020

RFV in GCMS note: May 2021
Re-medical: Sep 2021
PPR: 8 Oct 2021 (literally waited for a year)

Congratulations! It is good to see a fellow FSW get his PPR.

Pray for those less fortunate mate. AOR Nov 2019, and still waiting with the rest of the late 2019 folks.

A year ago I told my wife that "well, for sure next fall we will be moving to Canada, 2 years is the maximum possible processing delay." LOL.
So wake me up in October 2022. I bet my application status is going to stay the same.

Man I saw your exp a while ago and I have to say I feel you. I bet your app must have been approved a while ago had you applied without dependents. But yeah, guess that can't be helped. Wondering if US GC is a pathway for you coz you would have already gotten it in the same timeframe and told IRCC to suck its own ***...

Both Sydney and Ottawa together have the highest number of apps. Sydney did issue quite a few PPRs in the later half of last year.

So far the AORs I have seen from Sydney are 2019 or Jan/Feb 2020 on the other hand ottawa seems to issue PPRs for June 2020. Sydney has a lot of backlog. Just my observation. I may be wrong.

I wanted to know if this letter is the PPR letter itself or not, and whether I will be able to submit my passport at VFS using this letter? Please advise.
