In the physical presence calculator for Canadian citizenship, days that you were a temporary resident counts as 0.5 day towards physical presence in Canada. The calculator asks you for the type of temporary residence held. For a person who held a work permit (Post Graduation Work Permit), is the type "Temporary Worker" or "Temporary Resident Permit Holder"? Please help!

The question answers itself.
A PGWP is a temporary permit.

PGWP = post graduate work permit

Miss bee is correct. The terminology is confusing, but a Temporary Resident Permit is a separate thing from a work permit. You don't want to have a TRP, and you'd know if you held one - you have to especially apply for it and being granted one is discretionary, without any clear criteria, so it's quite a nerve racking process. See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...-canada-temporary-resident-permit-holder.html to know more about this.

Also, note that most TRP holders also apply for separate work permits.
