Since new members are liking this post, just want to update that I resubmitted Super Visa in October and mom got visa in 14 business days.

Did you resubmit the same documents you had submitted in Feb 2021 or did you update all documents for the resubmission

Digital photo question
Applying super visa for parents online using gckey portal
- will they take a photo during biometrics appointment? If yes, do we have to submit digital photo on online application as well? Trying to avoid them having to go out just to get photo from the studio. Or has anyone had success with photo taken on mobile phone?

If biometric done, on new portal, they do not ask to upload new digital photo coz they already have it from biometric. So, no need to upload digital photos

For Proof Of LICO, I don't have employment letter would that be a problem, As I Am On Vacation And Left the Job.

I am confused. You cannot sponsor without income. I believe you need to proof LICO and on going income to support applicant on supervisa

My Company Doesn’t Allow 2 Month Holiday,So They asked me to Apply Again.

I am not sure how to proceed with supervisa when you are unemployed.

Good luck anyway. You have to be honest with IRCC. So if you are unemployed, and they request the information, you need to tell them that.

Biometric and medical done upfront..

Whats the process for passport submission.and how long does it take to get passport back.

Can we go directly to Vfs Chandigarh for passports submission or it has to be mailed through courier..?

Is vfs Chandigarh taking walk-ins for passport collection..?
Anyone has a recent walkin experience .

Hi everybody, wanted to update you with my parents supervisa.

Applied in August 2019, was rejected due to lack of financial ties (submitted the file with minimal documents)
Applied in April 2021, no progress
Reapplied on October 1, 2021 through the new IRCC portal - made a mistake - selected purpose as reunion with family instead of supervisa
Reapplied on October 14, 2021 through the new IRCC portal (raised a webform to withdraw the previous file and called IRCC in Canada to leave a note on the file for Delhi IRCC)

Following is the timeline:
File submitted - October 14, 2021
Medical request - November 27, 2021
Medical completion - December 1, 2021
Medical updated - December 17, 2021
Biometric validity letter - December 23, 2021
Passport request - December 23, 2021
Passports picked up - December 24, 2021
Passports received - January 13, 2022

Received 50% refund on April 2021 and October 1 files.
