Hello everyone,
I'm new here and about to apply for a Super Visa for my mom. I have a couple of questions I hope you can help with:

1. There isn't a VFS center or Panel doc where my mom lives and she would need to travel at least 10 hours to the nearest city where VFS and Doctors are. Since the Biometric request usually comes in a day or 2, can we submit the application and do both the biometric and Medical at the same time so she wont have go again? Meaning, can she do the upfront Medical after getting the Biometric request?

Yes, she can do upfront medicals. The e-medical sheet she receives can then be uploaded on the webform along with her application number and UCI.

2. As a first time application, should I do it in the new portal or GCKey? the IRCC (canada.ca) web site only has the GCKey option.

Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer to this. I’m still waiting for for my parents’ first application on GCKey and second on New Portal and have seen no particular trend on the different chats to indicate one over the other - some GCkey applicants are getting approval and some new portals ones.

Anyone recently sent a passport for supervisa stamping in India. I sent two packages for my parents and they went to the Chennai office. Any idea how long it takes once the passport reaches the CIC office?

Got PPR for one of my parent today and still waiting for my mom's PPR. Is that normal?

23rd BVL
12 Jan 2022 PPR for one parent
Applied through GC key

SuperVisa(India) applied on June 30, 2021 and Biometric given on July3rd .2021...and Nothing after that....its been awhile...
submitted webforms too ..still no luck...losing hope and many other things.. day by day...

thinking of re-applying ...no clue. ......If that is a good move...

any suggestions ...please....

yes normal.. thats the trend.. your mom PPR should follow.. i had some concern with parents medical...

re-apply.. only then they look into.. else you will have to wait for long

i applied for super-visa in march 2021 and submitted biometric in august 2021. and nothing after that. now i am re-applying through new portal but there is optional documents section (Consent personal information,Employer letter (current),Additional documents). without uploading files for this dropbox,i can't proceed. what should i do?

Upfront medicals were done
Biometrics done sep 7
No update on any files
Contacted MP, criminality passed as per MP end of Nov
Still no update
I have lost all the hope in the immigration system

In PRP letter they have only provided VFS office link to contact. At the time of Biometric they have charged for courier services as well, but not sure whether we still need to pay for one side courier service or not.
