Ok how can we check did they passed the medical?

1- You need to count Family member on the day you are signing the Application . NOT on the basis of Future ., Yes You need to inform Family Composition change (By Law to IRCC)
2- Visitor VISA LICO calculation does not matter

I applied for my mother’s Super visa through a representative ; timeline:
Medical: December 2020
Application- January 26,2021
Biometrics Request - January 29, 2021
Biometric complete- August 25, 2021
There has been no update since. I did put a letter from the MP for faster process. It just says it’s in process. Agent did suggest to reapply as the application is way before September 07,2021 but we opted not to because of all the documents that had to be rearranged and it would hv been very difficult for my mother to do it. Now I am wondering if we should go ahead and reapply or just apply for a visitor visa alongside super visa?

Super visa is more guaranteed regular visa is hard to get

Depends on the situation ,
For parents if you can pass LICO and all condition like medical insurance , tie up with home country , Super Visa is Best bet

Is it possible that parents can travel to Canada on previous visitor visa while waiting for supervisa approval? Can they submit passport in Canada upon getting PPR?

They can travel since they have visa but to submite pp you need to webform ircc and tell them if they agree then they will let you know how and where to submit passport

Sorry for late reply. This is for Tax year 2020 , but 2021 will be around same which I heard in-fact add arrox 2.5 K more

Should I apply for visitor or super visa?
My agent was suggesting visitor alongside super and then we can withdraw whichever responses last.

Do not apply both. My parents applied for SuperVisa in April 2021> then applied for Visitor Visa in Aug 2021. Supervisa got withdrawn.

Then they reapplied for Supervisa again on IRCC new portal on Feb 9th > visitor visa got withdrawn.

So just apply one of them and wait until the processing time is complete.

Hello All

Passport request received for my mother on 25th May 2022.
Applied on new portal on 21/03/2022 (COR India)
Had Supervisa before and already visited Canada in the past.
Medical did in April 2022 after having applied for super-visa without medical request from IRCC so somewhat upfront.
Medical status passed on 23/05/2022 and received Passport request on 25/05/2022.
Earlier applications were withdrawn by IRCC and they processed the last one applied through Portal.
First application was Tourist visa application applied in March 2021 -No response ( finally withdrawn, GCkey)
2nd Application - Supervisa applied in November 2021- No response(GCKey)

I hope you all get the response for your applications soon.

I applied for my mother visa on 3rd May 2022 and till now did not get any reply. She had already done her medical as part of her previous application (which also appears to have lost somewhere as there was no progress so I decided to reapply through new portal)

I sent a IRCC web form request today as well.

Anyone please suggest something.
