What is the status of your application online? Does it say eligibility has started?
We applied in Feb 2022 too but Eligibility has not started yet.

All the sections says in progress except medicals (passed) so I got my local MP office to get inside details that is when they said “medical verifications and criminality verifications have passed. We're awaiting for the decision on the file.”

So for Eligibility it says:

Review of eligibility

• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.

or does it say something else?

Says this exact words.

So your eligibility has not started yet. Same as mine. Once Eligibility starts it is pretty quick.

Yes...that is what I understand....I believe the background check never shows as completed on the online portal but if Eligibility starts that is a good sign.

I talked to my mp he said your file is still under processing time so wait until it pass that which is 134days i think

And i applied the file on april 04 2022 which is my 2nd file new portal

Oh we applied on 27th Feb no update for us yet...

So they check background first then eligibility?

No they make sure eligibility is passed first then they do background checkup

I don't believe there is other way .
Can you ask your Immigration Consultant about Userid/Password
To be honest Canada Immigration form filling and instruction is one of the Easy and straight forward process , going via Consultant is just wastage of money (My view),
For my and family PR, CITIZENSHIP, my parents Visa (multiple) I did by my own , that's make process easy and transparent and you are fully aware and have control over your application

Hi, My Mother-in-law's super visa has been applied in Nov 2021 from India. No updates after Feb 18th as Medicals passed. Review of eligibility hasn't started yet. Now she is going to travel to United states next month, if she isn't receiving any update before that and she gets approval when she is in US, can we still put a cover letter and submit it to US vfs location?? any idea?

To be honest I am not sure about this situation
BUT in group many people have the same case and they submitted to the Visited country (In your case from US VFS) .

Can you please raise or call IRCC and ask this (just to be 100% sure)

Sure thanks . I have read the same before somewhere in this thread but got lost and wanted to make sure.
