hi,
I am on visitors visa in Canada and planing to apply for 1 yr study permit which will allow me 1yr work permit after study .just want to know after that 1yrwork permit what are the ways to settle or do I need to again study.
if now my study permit deny than for reapplication how much time I WL need more ?

Note that you may find it very difficult to be approved for a study permit from within Canada. To be approved, you must show that you have strong ties to your home country and no plans on remaining in Canada long term. This will be more difficult to prove if you are already in Canada. It would be much better to return to your home country and apply from there instead.

Thank you very much for your guidance. Is there any other way to settle in canada as I was planning to apply for refugee instead but one of this forum memebr j786 gave me good advice not to apply for refugee and look for some other ways to settle.

You'll have to read through this information to see if you qualify to apply. If you don't feel comfortable doing this research yourself, you should hire an immigration lawyer or consultant to help you.

I read your older threads. I agree it would be a bad idea to apply for refugee status. It doesn't sound like you would qualify based on the information you have provided. Once your refugee status is refused, you will have to leave Canada and it will be very difficult for you to return in the future. Your failed refugee claim will also impact your ability to enter other countries such as the US.
