Information Needed For Study Permit !

Hi Everyone,
I am offered admission in Canada and need to apply for Study permit. I will be getting married after approx two months. Now when I want to apply for study permit, shall I mention my status as "Single" or wait till I get married and then apply for study permit? As I also want my spouse to join me. Kindly guide.

If you want admission for September you should apply now. You can always update your file after marriage. There is no guarantee that your spouse will be able to accompany you.

Hey! Your spouse would be eligible for an open work permit which will be valid as along as your study permit is valid for.

Valid to apply for but not every spouse/common-law partner is issued the sowp.
