My study permit is expiring on March 31st, 2018 and I have booked my tickets from January 9th to February 20th, 2018. I just want to confirm if it is okay to travel during that time.
I am planning to apply for my work permit after coming back to canada
Will there be any problem at the time of returning at the airport while immigration check?

Of course nobody can predict what happens when a foreign national returns to Canada however the fact your study permit will still be valid until end March 2018 and assuming you still have a valid TRV or are visa exempt then you should have no issues .
