My study permit and TRV will get expire in March 2018, I am planning to visit my home country Pakistan in Dec 2017 and return back in mid of Jan 2018. Is it safe to travel when your visa is going to expire in short time ? or should I extend my permit and then travel ?
My previous stuy permit expired on July 31st and I traveled to Singapore during the first week of June; i.e. I travelled 7 weeks before my study permit expired. I didn't have any problems when returning. If you are planning to renew your study permit, you should do it at least two months in advance!
