Even I submitted my files on 19th of April and waiting for my decision. I believe it might take bit long to process and get decision from IRCC.

I applied on May 23rd and Got biometric request yesterday. Appointment is on on 29th May
I going to study masters from Ryerson university.My brother is funding me for my master's in Toronto Canada. Is it compulsory to pay Tuition upfront. He has provided enough evidence to prove that he can support my tution and applied for visa. He has shown around 100k of Savings

Yes we did he notarized the application.

Yes we did he notarized the application. I attached it in proof of funds. Even if they need GIC they should come back and hopefully they will not reject the application

Its my personal opinion, you are showing strong ties in Canada , which is not good.
Hopefully it will not effect your application.
