Steps involved to get HRSDC approval for a CA employer to hire foreign employee?

Hi all

My bro got an offer of Operations Director - he has sales/marketing and operations background and a Business degree. He got the Work Permit in 5mths. During this time CIC lost his medicals twice and he had to do them 3 times thus causing the delay.

Once the LMO was positive. He applied for Work Permit frm NY as the lawyer advised that NY turns around applications in 48 hours. It took them 4 weeks to approve it ! with the fiasco of lost medicals etc.... I thought only the 3rd world was prone to losing files and documents .... who would have known eh !

My husband has over 8 years of experience in marketing so if he gets an AEO for a job of Office Administrator/Manager - will it work for him?

If so, what should be the minimum monthly pay our employer has to offer us so HRSDC approve the AEO.

Any idea?

I have absolutely no idea. Have your friend go to Service Canada and talk to them. They should be able to tell him how much money he should be offering.
