My work permit will expire on February 26th, but my flight to go back home is on February 29th. Is it possible for me to stay in Canada even after my work permit expires? I read on the CIC website that "You can apply to restore your work permit in the first 90 days after it expires". But I'm not planning to apply for a new one, so I'm not sure whether I can stay in Canada for just 3 days more after the expiration date.
Technically you are supposed to leave the country when your visa expires. You can probably change your condition to a visitor which may be the easiest option.
