Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union

The Statutory of Declaration of Common-law Union that we had is notarized on March 9, 2018 however we want to change it because now we have declared our common-law
union under the Canadian Income Tax Act. (T-1 "General - Individual Income Tax Return"). Should we change it to yes or leave it just the way it is because by that time (March 9, 2018) we have not file our tax yet so we check "no" in the box?
