Declaring common-law union on IMM 5409, does changing marital status online count?

I'm filling out IMM 5409 Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union. I have gone online to the CRA website and recently changed my marital status to common-law on my personal profile.

For question: [1d) Have declared our common-law union under the Canadian Income Tax Act.(T-1 "General- Individual Income Tax Return")] Should I select "yes" or "no"?

I haven't submitted my tax return for 2018 and I'm not sure if making the change to my profile online is the same.

Would I also need to submit any other evidence that I've updated my marital status ?
