Hi everyone. Have you heard about some changes regarding incorporation of startup? I have heard the we must incorporate federally, but I could not find any source for it. Have you heard anything about this? Of it is true so what about the Canadian director for federal incorporation?!

Provincial registration is good enough I believe unless your business requires a federal incorporation. It is best to incorporate in the province where you will settle.

could you please inform me if you did register a Canadian incorporate a prior of submitting your application or your just used your company registration in your country ?
Dear members I hve a query please if anyone can help me in that..My husband is a primary applicant and just submitted his PR..now we are planning to apply for the WP for a family of 5. As of recent updates of SUV the WP will b granted for 1 year later on if the extension required they ircc will see and decide accordingly. My concern is that if they refused to extend WP after a year then again we hve to move back. Because PR decision will take 35 months as of now. So im bit confused what to do. Please those whoes specially moved there on WP and got extension easily please need your views and suggestions about it. Thank you
Hey @TaYfaY , sorry just saw this message. I got my WP extension recently(linked to my SUV file) . Make sure there is genuine business progress effort which is documented and can be given to them. A lawyer for submitting the application is preferable. Overall, I dont think they should or can reject a WP extension very easily since the business needs to keep going. Once you are inside Canada, it is better, according to me (Although the processing time for WP extension is v long! ) All the best on your business & movement!

Hi Everyone
Need advise.
If the primary applicant of SUV WP doesn’t apply for extension, can the spouse who is in Canada on open work permit apply for his own open work permit extension independently of the primary applicant ?

Hi, could you please tell us the validity period of the original WP? was it issued from the entry date or pass request date?
Also, could you please share with us what documents you provided for WP extension application? Is it complicated like the original WP application? Thank you.
