IRCC said that they've committed to process 80% of the applications submitted before 07Dec16 by the end of 2017, here we are few hours away to the end of 2017 and I have not received PPR yet.
I guess I am from the 20% , I have never thought I am that special.

Who is here has not received PPR too and submitted their application before 07Dec16?

April 2016 applicant, still waiting for PPR. I don't have any hope to receive PPR in 2018 also. IRCC just destroyed all of our dreams and hopes. IRCC must be happy now to stop us to reunite..

I completely understand how you feel, I feel it too. I believe all the delay is due to security screening.
There is really nothing we can do, I hope we all get PPR soon

Yes hope we will get it soon. But why it's taking this long and for some just a couple of months

It is frustrating and true, i have watched people getting their PPR within 6 months.

I think it is because where we come from, strict security screening measures for certain nationalities, or our countries take long time to respond to their queries. I wish there is a mechanism in place to track security screening progress or at least meaningful responds from IRCC.

She has been asked for re-medical..? or they just extended the medical expiry?

Her first medical was done in October 2015.
In Feb 2017 they requested another medical so it is still valid till next month
My wife is currently in Canada so we have decided to send her passport to the case processing centre in Ottawa for PR issuance

My background checks were in-process in MYCIC account since Oct,2016 but today in GCKEY account it is changed to not applicable. It means background check has been completed..?

For us it still say We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
