Hello Canasydian....did you receive your PPR back yet? I've added a column to the spreadsheet to track how long between PPR and visa / copr received...

We all waiting to see you get it first . I am praying this month brings luck to all of us . This waiting is unreal and very frustrating . It's really a big test in life with this whole sponsorship.

I ordered the notes on Jan 5 so hopefully by Feb 5 ill have them and see if there is any progress

I have ordered Notes one more time to see where my file got stuck and I will contact my MP once again in 3rd week of February as well,as he said.
I don't know whats going on. Why aren't they sending PPR??? Why ADVO is working slow now.

I received the gcms notes today
There is no update since November
I sent them the required documents in November but it doesnt show as recieved yet.
They havent started any of the security checks yet
It looks like they are sleeping

It's important to wait at least one month after submitting documents before ordering GCMS notes...I would wait 2 or 3 even....cause it sometimes takes this long for the submission to be logged in their system (let alone being acted upon)....I know it's painfully slow....praying you will hear good news soon!!

It's important to wait at least one month after submitting documents before ordering GCMS notes...I would wait 2 or 3 even....cause it sometimes takes this long for the submission to be logged in their system (let alone being acted upon)....I know it's painfully slow....praying you will hear good news soon!!

Since November everything went slow down . If you look
back this time last year you can see it was really fast . Only
logical opinion I came up with is that liberal govrment is pushing the syria refugees applicants upfront . It's good that canadian government is helping people that really need help but it's unfair that other applicants applications left behind .

It doesn't hurt if you take extra photos with you

So on Thursday I was reviewing the letter CIC had sent, checking to make sure that we had submitted everything correctly. It turns out that we had forgotten to put the name / date of birth on the back of one of the photos...so I went back to VFS with two new photos (same picture) and asked them to submit. They said initially that it shouldn't matter that we forgot to write the name etc but then I said I didn't want to risk it. They agreed to re-submit the photos seeing as our passport has been with CIC for over 20 working days (1 month).

So...we are still patiently waiting. I have to admit, it's hard not to conjure up all kinds of scenarios....what if they change their mind? etc...

Hopefully we will have it soon, insha'allah and everyone else sees some movement on their file as well..
