Hi all, my wife's IEC visa expired on Nov 3 2020. I have applied to sponsor her to become PR inland on Sep 28th and I submitted a OWP permit at the same time. This give her implied status. She gets laid off from her job today. Can she still work for the same employer if she gets recalled? Also, will she be eligible for EI?
Only know she is not qualified for EI, because no current valid permit led to no valid SIN which is one requirement for EI.
