Hi All,

I have applied for my spouse open work permit on August 10th. Unfortunately I lost my job last week. But still the visa application is in progress. Should I need to inform this to CIC or can I just ignore it. Since there is no change with the applicants details can I go ahead until a decision is made? Please suggest!

Spouse bank statement from India did not affect. This is my case. We had less than Rs.10 K in our account.

Hi, my wife is already in Canada and has Study Permit visa. I am outside of Canada and I'm going to apply for Open Work Permit Visa. I should apply myself outside Canada and create a new account or my wife should apply for me from inside Canada. also we have a 7 years old daughter that is living with me, what about for her? I should apply for her in my account as visitor?
I would really thankful if you could help me

I Applied June 8th online... medical passed in July... post that no update...

My husband is working in Canada and I have applied for spouse open work permit. I use to call on cic helpline to know the status of my application but From last 10 days they are saying they are working on 29th June 2017 application for online applicants processing time is 84days.
For my application it has been more then 95 days yet not received any update.
 
Hi everybody

I'm wondering if anybody would have any advice on our situation?

My wife is Canadian, we applied for permanent residency outland through family class which is in final stages but still not yet approved.

We are now in Canada and I have a job offer. To take up the offer though, I need a work permit/residency. I don't think my prospective employer will sponsor me, so is there any other way of obtaining a work permit quickly so I can begin work without having to wait for my residency?!

Any advice very welcome

Applied August 17th online with upfront medicals
class: Spouse of PNP

Submission confirmation: August 22nd

Medicals Passed: August 25th

Application Approved and passport request: October 9th

Passport sent: October 10th.
