In response to the application of family class sponsorship (spouse), IRCC sent me email that they need a marriage certificate (Nikah nama having Nikah registry seal from the local authorities or the union council of the region, Pakistan) issued by the local authorities (other than NADRA) of the region where the marriage took place. As I have already submitted the marriage certificate along with the application but I am not sure what's the difference between the one that I submitted and the one that IRCC is asking. Since the marriage took place almost 8 years ago in Pakistan so I am not sure that the submitted certificate is from NADRA or the local authority (however it should be same as per my knowledge) but how could I know what IRCC actually requires.
