please I need your advise, I’m sponsoring my wife and her dependent son so the application is with them already and even got medical request my question is that I have became citizen when we have birth in June which I contacted them to include my child but the officer told me that he is not eligible for sponsoring cuz one of the parent has became citizen before he was born and told me to start proof of citizenship application which I did. I also sent the birth certificate with letter to the Visa office, I want to know if this is in order and if it’s ok cuz I read some info about kids not declare or medically examined won’t be able to sponsored. Yep. Just apply limited validity passport for your child..because he is a considered a citizen of canada as long as you became a citizen before he was born...

you can apply temporary passport too whicke takes 3-5 days....as soon as youw wife and here dependent gets their visa..no need to worry about your son. 1 month processing is enough for your chikd.

Yep. Just apply limited validity passport for your child..because he is a considered a citizen of canada as long as you became a citizen before he was born...
