Hello everyone,
My husband got his confirmation of pr card letter today and changed his sin number. But he also has refugee claim still in progress. He never hear back from refugee centre for hearing for very long time. What should we do? Should he withdraw his refugee claim or should he wait to hear from them? We very confused. If anybody experience same issue could you please share with us. Thank you and best of the luck all

Hi ,
I am applying for spouse sponsorship and have filled all the forms according to the checklist.
I am trying to figure out what is the separate open Work permit application I need to fill along with the PR sponsorship?
I cannot see it in the spousal checklist.
is it just the one mentioned in IMM 5556 ? https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5556e.pdf
My hsuband is in a close work permit. In the form imm 5710 what should be the option we have to tick -
1. Apply for a work permit with the same employer
2. Applying for a work permit for the first time with a new employer.
3. Restore my status as a worker
4. Get a new temporary resident permit
Kindly help !
While filling personal history in 5669, can i have a overlap of months. Like say, half the month i was employed and rest unemployed.
My spouse would be unemployed from mid feb and i plan to submit the application around 26th of feb. In that case,
can i fill like below.
feb 2020 - ongoing --> unemployed
MM 2019-feb 2020 --> employed.
Hi everyone. I have a question in regards to the IMM 0008 form. I am the sponsor and I'm sponsoring my husband (outland). We have 2 children: one is a Canadian citizen and the other one is in the process of getting his proof of citizenship (he was born in the UK). My question is: on the form under dependants do I include both my children or just the one that doesn't have Canadian citizenship as of yet? Thank you!

I'm sorry I don't have the exact reference but I believe it's in the detailed guide. But you can find by checking carefully.
You do not include EITHER of the children on this form. For the one that has not received citizenship documentation yet, you can provide the application for him to receive.
The way to look at it is this: if the child has a right to citizenship, they should not be applying for PR status as your dependent. (I'm assuming you know the child has a right to citizenship and on what basis).
Or if you prefer, the child is a citizen and has just not received confirmation of such.
