Three years without even an acknowledgement of receipt indicates that the law firm has screwed something up terrifically.

Then you need to either call IRCC and ask them what's going on or press the law firm to actually give you a real update.

You should have at the very least received a file number from IRCC by now if the file was actually submitted.

They may not be fake, actually. It's hard to tell. One of their names is a registered lawyer in BC, but everything is very confusing.

If you are a client of them, call this number 888-691-4935 and ask to speak to Andrew Joseph Maloney, their Canadian lawyer. Demand to. Tell them you're a client and haven't even gotten a file number from IRCC for three years and threaten to report him to the Law Society of BC.

I'm a dec 2018 outland application for my wife. I'm sponsoring wife from Afghanistan, I completed 1yr on dec 28 2019. No updates since then. Account still says your application is taking us longer than usual to process. Anyone know what will happen next?
