I literally said I'd never heard of it so no one would consider me an authority on it, would they? You are just consistently a jerk to people on here and it makes the environment uncomfortable. Iccliff seems to being doing their best to make it more confusing.

As you don't live together, you CANNOT apply under the Spouse in Canada class, which is also called inland. You will 100% be refused.

You must apply under the Family Class, which is also called outland. It is perfectly fine for you to be in Canada while applying outland.

That’s made it clearer. So even my husband and i are currently living here in Canada (but in different provinces) we can apply spousal sponsorship under family class? Am i right? Thanks

Hi guys, I wanna share my situation and get some guidance on this.
I am on a study permit which expires on September 23.
I got married on July 19 2018.
My wife is a Canadian citizen. I have left studies even before my first semester got over. Basically I’m out of status. Due to personal problems and delay we couldn’t file our inland spousal sponsorship till now. Finally, I am putting the inland application. As I don’t have any status, my lawyer is putting the application of trp with my inland application. Is there any chance or approval? please guys help me out on guiding with this.

Quick question. We only applied Outland in August so we haven’t received AOR yet. I was curious if my husband (PA) changes jobs does he have to notify CIC? If so, do we just wait until we get AOR so we can fill out the web form? Thanks!

Hello everyone. I need suggestion from you guys.
I was out of status and had 3 months to restore status. During those 3 months I married and my wife is PR. Based on the marriage my lawyer applied for visitor record (visitor visa) just to restore the status. He also stated in the application that we are gathering documents to file a sponsorship application.
Now our spousal sponsorship application is ready and the lawyer says we can send it without waiting for the decision on visitor record application. What are your suggestions about this? Should we send it? Has anyone heard of similar case?
We are not submitting OWP application. And moreover, our marriage may seem like its marriage of convinience but in actual it is not as we have lot of proofs to prove we were in relationship since 2014.
One more question - If my visitor visa application is rejected, will I have to leave Canada? My spousal PR app. will be in process though by that time if I send it this week.

I have similar case. I have applied for Visitor visa from inside canada to restore my status. And spousal application is ready to be sent. But I need suggestions. I have made a post regarding that.

Yes we have a similar case. Basically it’s being out of status. I have read online clearly that if one is out of status the inland spousal sponsorship application will be considered fairly.
Being out of status is the only inadmissibility which is allowed to breach the conditions for acquiring the permanent residency.
