Q1. Do the PR applicant or spouse ( non accompanying) fill individual forms IMM 0008 or one form for both ? If it’s one form for both, where does the spouse ( not accompanying) information is filled ?

Q2. When filling IMM 5562 (supplementary form which contains information about the applicant's family's travels ), do we need to include travel to country of origin as well taken in last 10 years ?

Q3. Is PCC required for a country stay ( more than 6 months ) over 17 years ago after the age of 18 ?

Hi Experienced Members,


I have applied for inland spousal PR for my husband who is currently living with me in Canada. In the month of January, we plan to visit India for a month and then return back together.
Is it advisable for my husband to travel , given that his application is in progress under Inland, Canada class

Also, he will have his 6 months duration for visitor visa completed in January, appreciate your inputs,suggestions on the same

No updates yet. Just getting ghost updates.

Found out that a lot of people are on the same situation as us. This is due to the international students coming in for September session. A buddy who works with an immigration firm said to wait till September for passport request.

Applied Oct 2021 got request letter Aug 23

On the same boat as you. I applied for my wife back in November, 2021. Completed our medical in April, 2022. Eligibility check in progress since May. No updates since then.
Weirdly online applications are going very fast. People are getting PPR within 6 months in a lot of cases.

I also applied two months ago and no update yet. I sent to Sydney office.

I've got an update almost a week ago. they sent the AOR so at least I know they received my documents. I've got UCI and application number but everything is written not started: Eligibility, medical exam, background check.....

Neither could i , apparently its not for Online applications. I tried everything and i also have an Immigration consultant as my rep so i am just going to lease it, as i have PR tracker access.

Hello All, I applied for Spouse PR under Family Class.
I am Canadian Citizen and She is Outside of Canada. Applied through paper application.
Application reached to the office on August 5th 2022 (As Shown in Canada post tracking system).
How long does it take normally to get AOR?
