Hello everyone! Applied online spousal last May 2022. Is it normal that our BIL and SA received on Aug 15&16 and we haven't got any Medical Request till now?

Are you guys Outland? Did you received AOR? What date did you applied?

We are a newly married couple, My wife left for canada last week, she is studing M.eng in the university of waterloo sept intake, we have a newly created joint account which is 2 weeks old with CAD$8000 gifted to us as marriage gift from my mother. how can i show this as proof of funds ? everywhere online it shows the proof needs to be older than 6 months. can we just show a gift deed + affidavit and a letter of explantion for this ?
I am a salaried employee and have about CAD $4500 in my personal account.

Is your wife a PR of Canada or Canadian citizen? If not, she cannot sponsor you.
Family sponsorship is for PR or citizen to sponsor their spouse/immediate family to become PR.

Is she an internationl student? If you are asking vistior visa or SOWP post your question at the "International Students" section.

My spouse visa office is Ankara and she completed both biometric and medical on June 7 and eversince no update. Both eligibility and background is in-progress from June with no change. Does anyone have the same situation from the visa office at Ankara?

My visa office is Ankara too. my file submitted on Dec 21 online. Bio & medical completed on April and no update after that.

Hello all, i have few questions regarding sponsor inland. My friend she is PR holder but her boyfriend he is in canada without status since 2015. He came in canada as a student but couldn’t finish his study for some reason. My friend and her boyfriend they are thinking to getting married, if they marry is this is going to be okay for my friend to Sponsor her husband here in Canada. Again they both lives in canada. My friend she has a good income too. And her boyfriend has no criminal record. Please advise thank you in advance

My spouse holds a valid TRV and has submitted biometrics and paid for it back in 2017. We don't have a receipt for it though.
I am applying for outland spousal sponsorship for him now. Can anyone tell me if we should pay biometric fees again while submitting his spousal sponsorship application? or the biometrics we submitted back in 2017 will be good enough, so no need to submit fees for it now?
Please guide.
