A month ago we sent a web form regarding one missing info in the tracker, can we send one webform after getting the new passport?
Also what about the barcode sticker the biometric centre stick stick to the current passport ?
Hi All
Just a quick question...what happend if the sponsor die during the sponsorship process?
Can the Principal Applicant continue with the process?
Thank you and Happy New Year to Everyone
It's the applicant's uncle. Unfortunately, most of her family is against interracial marriage, so the only people who know are her immediate family, who don't live in Canada.
You should fill out the section with all family members already present in Canada that aren't on your Additional Family Information form (spouse, parents, children, siblings). They shouldn't be contacted or find out about the marriage because of their inclusion on either form.
Another section in the same form asks if your close family, friends, and children know about your relationship. You can explain there why certain family members don't know. IRCC should respect your privacy and safety concerns.
Thank you for the reply! Just to clarify, the family is the applicant's uncle and his immediate family; is my understanding correct then that they wouldn't be listed on the Additional Family Information form? Additionally, I was under the impression that any listed family members may be contacted, is that not accurate?

Hello I’m from Vancouver. I applied under common law. My partner is a citizen. I got my extended work permit. I gave my biometric too. What is the wait time post this ?
Hi, I’m in the process of sponsoring my wife. She is in India and I’m in Canada.
In the document checklist they mention the following:
1 - proof of contact (max 10 pages)
2- proof of wedding (max 20 photos)
3- separate document providing brief description of the photos
4- document showing we are recognized as each others spouse (insurance docs)
5- documentary evidence of financial support
6- proof of past cohabitation
7- travel tickets to visit etc
I want to know how to upload these docs?
An option I can think is to put (1) under the “proof of relationship to sponsor”
And rest except (3)under “proof of relationship”. I will provide a cover letter explaining what’s in each pages (docs number 2 to 7 in above list)
And finally (3) under “other”
Hey all, my fiance and I are in the process of completing the spousal sponsorship outland docs. One of the required docs before you can submit the application is a police certificate. I read on the country specific requirements that Colombians don't need a police certificate until it is requested and a file number is sent. We haven't tried submitting the docs yet, but I'm not sure how this will work?

Is eligibility done for both Sponsor and the PA ? The Sponsor received letter after 15 days of submition that the sponsor is eligible. But the tracker says eligibility is under process. Its so confusing.

Hi guys ! An urgent question regarding spousal sponsorship :
1. My wife's address will change after marriage as her father will be moving to new home. If she does PCC now ( we are marrying in 2 weeks) would it be okay to use ?
2. Do I need to update her address to my passport address ? My whole family is in canada so we no longer live at the passport address. She will be staying at her parent's new home.
3. Is it required to put husband name to her passport and aadhar ?
4. Is it okay to do PCC for an address where u haven't lived 6 months ?
