what is polio certificate? Does everyone need that before leaving or what

did they asked for it in the medical.?? I think it gets done when you are at the airport for your flight. They issue you a certificate which is valid for a year. And congrats, I think you got your case in process, you were the most anxiously waiting member

if you are a pakistani national and will be travelling from pakistan, you are thereby required to take the polio shot/drops.

I think case varies between different airports. My parents flew in last summer from Islamabad but nobody held them up and asked for proof of drops admission. Likewise for me, i visited in December. In Islamabad nobody cared at that time.

You can read the timeline of khan jee and kashii ..you might be lucky to get passport request within 1 month of remedial but many applicants are not getting it ,,waiting even for 6 months ..actually every thing of immigration is random..this is what I can understand by different experiences of different members..

I came to Pakistan for a month, and went to Saudia Arabia in that time for Umrah, for Umrah they asked me to take the drops, and I had that certificate attached with my passport, they checked it while returning to Canada too. So I think it is required at the airport ( I am talking about Karachi).

They might have make it necessary now, previously it was'nt required to have. Did u get re medical request? If yes what else they required from you?

Congratulations SH 52, at least u heard something from LVO. May u get ur passport request soooooooner. whats ur online status is? Does ur status got changed to in process or decision made?
At least there is some sort of relaxation to know they are working on files transferred to london in july.

For saudi Arabia they specifically require this vaccination to be done when someone goes for haj or umrah. But for canada i heard first time.

you are 100% right. Case to case variations. But now process is bit fast after direct transfer to London.If some documentation is not required, PPR is early.

I have one question that its been more than 15 days that LVO have received my re-medical etc but i have not received any email etc regarding PPR or anything. Is it normal ? any1 else having same situation or any1 knows something about such situation please let me know I am worried.

Yes it's totally normal. Wait for few more days and ur status will change to decision made and after that they will take few more weeks before they send u PPR. My process from remedical to PPR took 1 month and 2 weeks.

CIC Mississauga received my spouse sponsorship application on Nov 10, 2014.
I got married August 2014 in Karachi, Pakistan. Before leaving back to Canada in September 2014, I found out my wife is pregnant.
I am a Canadian citizen born here.
Made an appointment to see the Conservative MP for our district but it seemed totally useless.
She did call me back after her inquiry with CIC and stated my file would be sent to New Delhi, which really surprised me.
Almost 90 days have past but no sponsor approval yet. This is driving me crazy.
Wife did her medical Oct. 21, 2014. AOR received Jan 23, 2015. :

Doesn't sound right man. Delhi is dealing with only Medical side of it(communication problem perhaps?) rest is taken care of by London. thats only what makes sense to me.

hey how long did your file take from the time re medical was done to the status change on your E case(if you recall any of the dates?). PS- did they ask full re medical or just a couple of things??

full medical+ 15-20 days after medical e status changes.
