Don't get banned by getting too many visa denials. I'd recommend actually travelling with your partner to another country where they have to obtain a visa first, then they'd be far more likely to receive the Canadian visa if they have travelled in the past.

Going to Mexico was an easy route for Pakistani's and then to apply to come to Canada. Unfortunately, that has changed with the new restrictions on Mexicans requiring a visa themselves to come to Canada.

IRCC Secure Portal says today with the date - May 1st, 2024. Your application is in progress. You will receive a message once final decision has been made.

Eligibility shows in progress and Background Check says will send us a message if needed.

The Application Status Tracker shows no changes since my last update.

Anybody here know how long does it take after PPR in London VO? e.g., the time from sending passport to getting it back?

Do they actually mail/courrier out the passport to that Visa Office? Or just process the visa at the VFS?

No! They just received your passport, than forward it to vfs islamabad, than they will forward to ircc Islamabad office where passport got stamped, after ircc process it will send back to ircc Islamabad office, after that they will send back to that vfs office where the submission was made only if choose to self pick up from vfs, you can also choose one way courier service (fees 6800 pkr), if you choose this service at time of submission than vfs Islamabad send your passport directly at your given address.

My timeline line is
Passport submission at vfs Lahore on 21 march,
Same day they sent it to islamabad,
Vfs islamabad received it on 22 march,
23, 24, 25 office closed,
Ircc received my passport on 26 march,
Irc process my passport on 27 march and send back to vfs islamabad on same day, vfs islamabad received the package and transferred it to vfs lahore office,
On 28th march i got tge email that my passport is ready for collection.
