We applied for Spousal TRV via GCKEY on June 25th and we have only got "Biometric" completed until now on PR Tracker. It's been a month now. But as you mentioned about the other cases, I hope we have an update soon.

Yes. Only BIOMETRICS is shown as "Completed" on PR Tracker. And that was updated the very next day when we applied --> June 26th. Since then, only 'Background Verification' is "In_progress".

I also check GC KEY regularly and it shows only BIOMETRICS Data as updated.

We applied through GC Key which is I guess is the OLD PORTAL.

In my tracker the Visa details are mentioned, eligibility completed, and background in process. In gckey it shows final decision on 25 July and I recieved correspondence letter which was BVL. All this was updated on 24 & 25 July after six days of application

So you applied through GC Key and it took only 10 days - from submission to PPR. Amazing.

I applied through gckey and yes from confirmation submission (on 18th july) to ppr all done within 10 days.

Guys.... I submitted by application on May mid and from previous TRV Biometric was completed and in PA tracker it shows as completed. Thus I didnt pay for Bio fee part of PR application. now on July 20th i got the request to pay fee and i did on the same day. havent heard anything after that on...

Hello guys thanks to all who supported me here finally I got PPR request from Abu Dhabi office the passport will be submitted next week in Islamabad visa centre in Pakistan. Can you please guys tell how long it take to get passport back with visa from Abu Dhabi office PPR request 27 July.

Hello everyone! It’s great to hear so many people getting their spousal TRVs.


I recently submitted my Spouse’s Family Sponsorship application (12 July; online). We are waiting for further updates and AOR.

In the meantime, we would like to apply for my husband’s visitor visa under the light of the recent announcement of fast approvals for family reunification, while we wait for a decision on his PR application.

Can anyone please advise on how we should proceed -

1. Should we wait for AOR and application number to be generated before applying for his Visitor Visa

Or

2. Can we proceed to apply for TRV without receiving AOR/application number as we have a confirmation of payment for spousal application?

Any guidance on this will be greatly appreciated.
