Sounds Great. So The way I see it will not bring any problems in the application processing???? Just wanted to make sure that I understand and be prepared in case there might be any questionsing (If I am making a decision to be with my spouse).

Hello Forum, New to the forum. Kindly someone help me with a question or actually two

My application (Spousal) has recently been transferred to LVO from Mississauga office. I am a Canadian citizen. Kindly advise if I were to move to Pakistan till my spouse has received visa, is that ok?

Also do I need to fill some other types of forms or a letter to LVO stating I am moving to Pakistan till the visa processing is undergoing? Thanks

You dont need to tell them that you are going Pakistan. Only Permanent Residents have a condition i.e. they have to stay in Canada during the sponsorship.
while Canadian Nationals can stay in Pakistan during sponsorship.

Dear All,

Some members are asking about GCMS notes or CAIP notes. that how can we order that. there are two ways to do that.

1. Any Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident can request online on behalf of anyone (Fee5$)
2. Use website who charge 40-50$ (Just google them)

I will explain option 1.
arrange 4 things first:

1. your scan PR card or PP copy
2. credit card
3. Scanned Consent form of release of info signed by your spouse

Fill your information (Not your spouse or for whom you are getting gcms notes)

Select: Member of public

Under:
*How would you prefer to receive the requested records?
Select: Email

On next page

Under
*Please select the Act under which you are submitting the request.
Select: Access of Information Act

Under
*Which type of records do you wish to request?
Select: Case Files

and then fill your spouse name file no. etc.

Attach consent form and your PR Card scan copy and scan copy of your spouse.

pay the 5$ fee


Exactly after 30 days you will get CAIPS notes in your email:

Interview Tips and Experience

Focus on only one thing,

i.e Proof of relationship, Pictures, Phone bills, call logs, skype logs, marriage certificates, also go for Family registration certificate as well.

Interview is all about simple questions with only intent to find that relationship is Genuine or not.
simple questions, your husband birthday, your plans, what your husband is doing, where he is living, how marriage was arranged. love or arrange marriage, how you both communicate and how often.

Uptill now i have been unable to to access online application status it says " We are unable to process your request at this time" .
Q1. Any idea when i will be able to gain access??

2.Nothing, just wait.
3.Wait for LVO to contact you.
4.Nobody knows, but sooner than applicants transferred to ISB.

i applied in january 2013, recived approval in febuary and, afer that no contact from cic, now file is transfered to LVO, when i dont know...its 17th month for me..and already my relationship is being destroyed just because of this bullshit immigration.

Not sure why is relationship being destroyed just by prolonged processing times?

You and your husband must have known about the long processing times on CIC website. Despite knowing this why did you expect a quick and short processing and enjoyment of life in Canada. There are members here who are waiting for more than 4 years for their spouses to be with them, and you're just at 17 months. A little more patience is required, your file is moved to London, they're not that bad and are working on cases.

If a little bit of a delay is destroying your relationship, I suggest you to move to Pak temporarily for some time to be with your spouse.
Try and work out your issues, and learn to be patient and tolerate these things. If you start failing now what will u do when life throws other
things at you guys ? Is the relationship only going to work out if u live in Canada? Rather, it should work under ALL conditions, everywhere in the world, in any state you both must be content and have patience.
Your turn will come soon, I suggest you patch up things in your relation and start to be happy. Get busy, work or study. If you're going to obsess 24 hours a day about visa you will go crazy.
