1. I submitted copy of the police certificate with the application
2. copy paste the photos in a word documents and write the details beneath the photo. i put one photo per page and wrote details: what event, which date, who is in the pictures, what is their relation to me or spouse. i grouped the pictures according to events and i explained each event and what it was/meant like mehendi, nikkah, rukhsati, valima etc.
3. i believe they refer to this as the nikkahnama or the nadra marriage registration certificate. submit BOTH. if nikkahnama is in URDU then make sure to submit a certified copy of and a certified english translation.
4. no need, my wife did not submit any.
5. letters/mail/email sent to each other, if any. any communication you had with your wife submit that, whatsapp/viber/sms chat screenshots from your phone (add to word document resize to fit 6 screenshots per page)
6. screenshots of Facebook posts about your wedding, comments from facebook friends on your wedding post etc. written letters from friends detailing they know you and your spouse got married, how they know you, if they attended wedding etc.
7. not essential. this is usually needed if you have a lawyer submitting your case.

i think they are asking to attach original police certificate not a copy in the guide at cic with the application

Just received my passport with the visa on it along with my CoPR.

issue date 10/10/2018 and expiry date 03/11/2018 on both CoPR and the Visa.

I researched and asked and found out there's no way to extend it. Use it or lose it. Got less than 20 days even the ticket prices in this short notice are sky high.

I guess I have no choice so farewell my dear aliens this is a one alien got off the ship and wish you all best of luck and a speedy process too..and also an expiration date long enough to get ready but it's possible you end up like me so be prepared either way.

I have no idea it started processing from 2nd Feb afterward got an email to update additional documents for relationship proof on 19 June 2018
and a pre-arrival services letter on 2nd October following it.

Thats for some countries, not for Pakistan .. u still hv to go submit it physically .. it will say that forever, so dont panic ..
If u read the letter it tells u what to do .. follow instructions for ur country ..

Dude everything is crystal clear in Checklist. Read that one first. They said copies only unless it is written original or if they ask one.

this was for ahc, well my husband is from portugal and i sponsored him inland spousal sponsorship.

send application in on dec 15,2015
they started proccessing it on jan 15,2016
pcc was send in in july 19 2016
sponsor approval on march 10 2017
ask for proof of realtionship was send in on march 29 2017
the officer looked at it on april 20 2017
my husband got approved on april 21 2017
landing interview at cic etbicoke on april 28 2017.
plus we had no relationship interview



we did the application under old procces which is 26 months took us 1 year and 7 months cause my husbabd is from visa exempt and we had no relationship interview only his landing interview our case was easy

Like i said .. everyone gets it .. u must hv gotten a REQUEST LETTER at the bottom .. open that up n follow directions given there ..
