U MUST follow the instructions in the guide or any checklist given to u in ur application package. I applied from KHI in sept 2016. Back then i sent my educational docs photocopies cause it was a part of the checklist.
I really cannot recall whether i submitted attested copies of my nikkah nama anymore. But if the checklist says 'certified copies' then yes get then attested and certified from notary public. If u are having ur urdu nikkah nama translated, then get it done from notary public in saddar near the courts. And get the translated copy attested by them too.
In short, i wud advise u to READ the instructions (word by word) very veru carefully in ur pack. Downloa
thanks .....That's what I want to know exactly the place from where I can get the translation..In new forms 2017 there is no description about attestation that's why I got nervous..I was thinking to send them without attestation. One more thing from where I can get my NIC

Hi Guys,
Been following this forum for a while.. good to know I am not the only one anxious and losing patience over this process.
I am sponsoring my husband, and we applied in Aug-2016. I have not received any correspondence, except when it was received by the LVO in Sept-2017.
My lawyer sent an email 2 weeks ago, and they responded with their generic reply saying it's in queue to be reviewed by an officer.
I don't understand why Aug applications are being ignored!

I also applied for my husband's sponsorship back in aug-2016. haven't received any correspondence either. not even a re medical. husband's medical has already expired.
Ordered notes, and they were useless. contacted the MP a month ago and they said it was still in process BGC hadn't started.
on the notes location changed from PUT AWAY to CASE ANALYST. doubt it even means anything.
We sent voluntary docs to LVO after my recent visit to pakistan. they've attached them to our file. nothing more, nothing less.
We're being ignored honestly.
I applied Nov 29, CIC received my application on Dec 1st. Since December being the most happening month for me received no updates like every other December applicant untill now. My husband made a recent visit in March and I am planning to send additional documents voluntary before they ask me in hopes of quicken the process. I haven't paid RRPF and I am aware of the fact I would be receiving a request mail before PPR. My question is, is it a good step to pay RRPF and send it along with the additional documents voluntary?
Before you guys deem me so desperate being an applicant of December (considering 5/6 months only) i am willing to make you guys aware that my story didn't start in December. I am away from my husband since 2013 marking 4 years period this August. I applied for student visa in 2015 and i even got a medical call (that makes it clear that you are going to be approved in case of student visa) but unfortunately i was rejected solely on accounts of not providing them the requested documents on time! For which I did not receive any mail. I made them aware and I was told that my case is closed and i should re apply. When I applied again i was rejected because this time the VO was not satisfied that I will come back. The fact that i am refused an student visa could affect my spousal sponsorship case?

Yes it saves time to pay rprf and attach the receipt when you are sending other voluntary documents . if you don't then the visa officer would send a request to you and put the file on hold for some time.

No, I don't think so. you haven't broken any rules, and if your relationship is genuine and you have provided sufficient proof of relationship from the time/before your marriage to the time of application submission, you should be fine.

Depends on what kind of add voluntary documents you want to send. my voluntary docs included tickets, boarding passes, entry exit stamps on passport and pictures of my spouse's visit to Pakistan and recent communication proof (after submission of application). LVO was asking for this from June july applicants so I decided to send this on my own. And I sent my package once my sponsor was back in Canada (6 months after submission of application)

when did you send? How much time has it been? Did you receive any correspondence since then?
