If you have updated email on MY CIC then you should be able to get an email "your status is updated/changed, please check your account for more details".
so generally, no
but just a precaution always check spam folder and do visit MY CIC at least once every week (sometime errors are there and email is delayed).

My wife's medical expires on June 30th; CIC hasn't asked for re-medical or provided any updates on the file up to yet. Not sure what to expect.

In any case, I just landed in Pakistan yesterday. Hopefully spending a week with the wife will give her a little more patience and I'll use our meeting photographs to update in the GCKey account as additional proof of relation, because I remember someone here was asked why they did not go back for more than a year after getting married.

Anyone else having approaching medical deadlines with no response?

My wife had an interview on the 11th May, they asked questions about our marriage our and a few question on the issue we had in our marriage.
then he took my wife's PP and Pictures as well.

has it happened to anyone before?

My husband ,(sponsor) has applied for citizenship but hasn't got his Canadian passport yet.... his Pakistani passport is also expired.... I have to submit appendix A form where i have to write his passport number along with issue and expire date... what should i write????

Hi,

You can only upload documents to GCKEY account if they are requested by CIC. You can not upload voluntary docs through mycic. You can send voluntary proofs to LVO via post, case specific enquiry or email.
