If you are living in another country on a legal status, you can provide LVO proof of residence and request to change location of interview.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Hello seniors,
Since it is clear LVO is taking the longest time to process Pakistani spouse case (I have seen other threads where Dec and Jan 2017 applicants are getting PPR). I have followings questions:
1) Is it possible to secure temporary Visa (Student or Work Permit) for those who are SA and waiting for PPR ?
2) Can any lawyer / MP help us during this phase to get temporary VISA ?
3) Is there any case that is being REFUSED at the end of 12 months after getting SA other than security or criminality ? I mean what is Eligibility process after getting SA? I thought Spousal Approval was that, no ?
Thanks

If you have close family ties (spouse, siblings etc) in Canada, then chances of securing visit/ study permit are very low (speaking from personal experience).
In the first stage of spousal sponsorship, sponsor's eligibility is assessed. After that, Immigration Officer reviews whether the principal applicant is eligible for spousal sponsorship or not. Here they evaluate the genuineness of your relationship based on the info you provided in the forms & proofs. Usually if a Visa Officer has any concerns they will ask for additional documentation & if they are not satisfied, the applicant will be interviewed. After interview, VO can approve/refuse your application.
Thanks

no, but the validity is over, (6 months)
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
dont worry about that. When and IF Cic needs it they will ask. Usually they dont and almost all PCCs get expired since the process is so long.

1st with app and it was i think May, then i made second in November and mailed it to London office.
and now i made this 3rd pcc. i dont know where i read but somewhere it said, send it voluntarily this will help avoid delay,
i just searched and found one such line in new guidelines as well.
"We encourage you to get your police certificates in advance to avoid delays."
url: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5525ETOC.asp#expect
This line is written in bold letters under police certificate instructions

Police certificate is valid for 1 year as noted by members on the forum. if 12 months have passed from the date of PCC, then VO sends a request for new certificate.
You have already submitted a certificate in nov 2016, so it should be valid till nov 2017.
Are you May 2016 applicant?

nope, i applied in November, made pcc earlier, so had to make another before applying.
Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
Speaking of London Pilot Project,
Have you guys heard of "Predictive Analytics".
while we are here thinking that LVO has not touched our files lately, system will categorizing "low risk" and "high risk" category, then those with "low risk" tag will get PPRs or even PRs very soon.
I'm not sure, but this might explain London Pilot Project.
here is a link that i read last month
